As I began to write this, I found myself at home, settled into my new house. It's a significant change for me, as I've always been accustomed to the rhythm of returning to school after a few months. That routine has shifted, and I won't return to school anytime soon. Except for during the pandemic, I've rarely spent more than two months at home. This adjustment feels rather strange.

In the past, I've relished having my own space for extended periods. My friends share the same sentiment, so we understand each other's need for solitude. However, the dynamics are different in my family. Being back home permanently means I'm in a space where I'm held accountable and responsible in a new way.

This shift has also motivated me to take charge of my commitments. With no more school to distract me, I'm determined to consistently run my blog (fingers crossed). Similarly, I'm taking my crochet business more seriously – it's no longer just a hobby but a source of income since allowances are no longer part of the equation. Additionally, I'm finally acting on my long-standing plan to launch a YouTube channel. This channel has been on my mind for nearly six years (be sure to subscribe!).

These endeavors are part of my journey toward becoming a content creator, a dream I've nurtured for years. Amidst all this, I can't ignore that NYSC is approaching, job hunting is on the horizon, and the transition to full-fledged adult life is ongoing. It's a lot to handle, and I'm eager to see how I navigate it all independently.

I'm currently staying at my aunt's house in the UK. Yes, I needed a change of scenery. So, to stay in the loop, please keep checking back for updates as I share my life from now on – the highs and lows, challenges and victories of my journey. I'm prepared to tackle this new chapter of my life with determination and a positive approach. As I embark on this new phase, I greatly appreciate your support. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

"No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it." (1 Corinthians 10:13, MSG).

What Have I Been Listening To?

I'm actually proud of me because I've been listening to lot more new music, new as in, I'm just listening to it for the first time, not that it necessarily just came out. I'm just going to list them out. On My Mama by Victoria Monet has been ringing in my head, I'm so in love with it, especially with that popular 90s sample. Also been listening to Slow Motion by Don Toliver and Wizkid, you know you can trust Starboy for slow and sultry songs. I've also been listening to Burna's, I Told Them, just little by little, not a whole album listen yet. Good Love by Tamera and Tay Iwar is also an amazing song. Tay Iwar's discography is definitely clear. Be Easy by Odeal and Brazy is a good one and lastly Joy by Pharrell Williams.

What Have I Been Watching?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have decided to be on the right side of history and finally start Vampire Diaries, I'm now in season 2. I also watched the Too Hot to Handle Show, I actually really enjoyed it. I had so many shows I was meant to watch in July and August but now I chose to move it to September. I'm going to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty before my sister kills me, Bridgerton Season 2(calm down please) and Queen Charlotte. Only Murders in The Building Season 3 is also coming-out episode by episode every week and I'm quite excited for it. I also downloaded Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Boy Meets World to start. Plus, if anyone has an idea where I can get Different World, please text me. I'm going to watch Red, White and Royal Blue once I finish the book and puppy love, both with friends over call. Then I hope to watch The Blue Beetle and TMNT in cinemas as well.

What Am I Reading?

I'm going to be honest with you, I haven't read much. I was in a reading slump, so to get out of it, I read two low effort books, "It Happened One summer" and "The Bride Test", both romances. I was particularly disappointed by "The Bride Test" because it was trying to follow the format of "The Kiss Quotient" but didn't get it ("The Kiss Quotient" is an amazing book btw). Anyway, right now I've been reading "The Guest" (mystery/thriller, I think) and I haven't really made much progress.
