The candidate list for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) was announced on Tuesday, with Post Malone at the top of the list.

With 16 entries, Post Malone was the most nominated artist. He was nominated as best man and Best Billboard 200 for the categories 'Hollywood bleeding.'

Second, 13 nominations led by 12 nominees from Billie Eilish and Khalid were sent to Lil Nas X. The last two are nominated for the best singer, the best emerging artist by Billie Eilish and the best male artist by Khalid in 2018.

Another artist to be noted is Taylor Swift who could win a record three times a year. She won before in 2013 and 2015. She is now nominated for six awards to compare to the 23 previously won. Kayne West has secured four of the top five gospel album nominations.

For the most BBMAs for 27, Drake has been nominated for 5 additional prizes.
Three classes will be voted on by fans beginning on 1 October. The "Sunflower" from Post Malone and from Swae Lee's are the greatest success, best social performer, and a high-class collaboration. The TikTok is the largest polling station in this year.
Kelly Clarkson is hosting again this year on Wednesday 14 October at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Dolby Theater in NBC in Los Angeles. The ceremony was originally planned for 29 April. Yet the Covid-19 pandemic has postponed it. The awards are based on the map period between 23 March 2019 and 14 March 2020.
