Former President Barack Obama shared Saturday his favorite list of songs for 2020.

According to Obama, the list posted on Twitter meets "a valuable consultation by our familial guru, Sasha," who seems to have a significant effect on her father's music choices.

Essence is one of Wizkid's "Made in Lagos" songs, featuring Tems.

Obama's music is prevalent, beginning with rock (Dua Lipa's Levitating, Jessie Ware's Remember Where You are), rap (J. Cole's The Climb Back, Lil Baby's The Bigger Picture), and country (Chris Stapleton, Ruston Kelly's Brave). Obama's music taste affects many kinds, starting with rock (Bruce Springsteen's Ghosts, Bob Dylan's Goodbye jimmy Reed, Jeff Tweedy's Love Is the King).

This is part of Obama's yearly tradition of sharing his favorite services, books, and music of the year. Among Obama's favorites are Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Pixar's Animated Video, Soul, David Fincher's Mank, the documentary Time, and Higher Ground Productions, Crimp Cramp.
