Savage X Fenty, Rihanna's lingerie label, is trying to expand its success beyond the wear-your-underwear-around-the-house WFH period with a vibrant new capsule collection worth noting: Savage X Pride. The Pride collection, a first for the company, includes 25 new pieces, each catering to and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community in honor of Pride Month.
“Pride is all about appreciating your authentic self,” Rihanna told ELLE over email. “I am very excited about this collection and showing love and support to the LGBTQIA+ community, which includes so many of our customers, team members and fans.” The intimates are seductive but not terrifying, amusing but not cringe-worthy, and created for bodies of all sexualities and sizes.
The capsule, which will be available on June 1, has a shocking array of clothing, including lacy bras, neon smoking jackets, crotchless underwear, Savage-branded jockstraps, and even a multi-colored kitten whip.
